Who are The Futureneers?
The Futureneers are a not-for-profit CIC (community interest company) that exists to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people with a current focus on Kent.
They believe all young people deserve the opportunity to excel in life – regardless of their background, aspirations, learning styles, skills or interests.
They’re here for the ones that find school difficult, those that don’t fit the education system’s mould, the square pegs in the round holes – to tell them “you can succeed” and help them do so.
Their work supports young people to focus on what matters to them and equips them with the self-belief and capability to fulfil their potential – regardless of their story so far.
What do they do?
The Futureneers deliver programmes that give young people the confidence and capability to engineer their own future.
Their school-age programmes help young people to develop a can-do mindset, embrace their individuality and build the self-belief, skills and knowledge they need to raise their aspirations and shape their future on their own terms.
Their post-school offering helps vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals build skills and access work or start their own business.
More information about the specific programmes offered by The Futureneers can be found on their website.
